civiliti is a Montreal firm specializing in urban and landscaping projects with a high public content.

Since its founding in 2001, the firm has centred its practice on the development of urban landscapes, with the goal of forging and strengthening the identity of the city. A strong proponent of the idea that public space is essential to building community , civiliti believes that the form we give to public spaces has the potential to imbue the land with a long-lasting spirit of togetherness. Grounded in recognized contemporary approaches, civiliti’s practice is focused on reflection and a holistic view of public space design.

Maude Gagnon-Levert holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from the Université du Québec à Montréal (2014), and also completed a session at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Toulouse. During her studies, she developed a strong interest in urban and landscape planning. Her academic projects have been fueled by the positive impact of spatial planning on human beings. Born in Montreal, she enjoys witnessing the evolution of her city both as a citizen and a professional.

A member of the civiliti team since 2016, Maude works on various urban and landscape projects, mainly in the study and design phases. Versatile, she handles the production of visual and analytical documents, research, analysis and writing, as well as sketches in plan or 3D. Her sensitivity and rigor enable her to build clear, precise visual content that conveys stories, making it easier for all project stakeholders to understand the project’s conceptual objectives.
