civiliti is a Montreal firm specializing in urban and landscaping projects with a high public content.

Since its founding in 2001, the firm has centred its practice on the development of urban landscapes, with the goal of forging and strengthening the identity of the city. A strong proponent of the idea that public space is essential to building community , civiliti believes that the form we give to public spaces has the potential to imbue the land with a long-lasting spirit of togetherness. Grounded in recognized contemporary approaches, civiliti’s practice is focused on reflection and a holistic view of public space design.

Martine Vincent

urban designer, architect

A graduate of the Master of Architecture program at Université de Montréal (2012), Martine Vincent also holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design from Université du Québec à Montréal (2009). As part of her training in architecture and environmental design, Martine received several grants, including one from the Fondation de l’Université du Québec en arts, which enabled her to perfect her analytical, conceptual and creative thinking.

With the civiliti team since 2013, Martine works on the conceptual and technical development of projects and is also involved in monitoring project implementation. With great rigor, she oversees and coordinates, both within the firm and with other professionals on multidisciplinary teams, several complex projects, notably for the Griffintown district. Her curiosity leads her to constantly refine the communication and management tools used by the team, in a spirit of supporting the project at both conceptual and operational levels.
