civiliti is a Montreal firm specializing in urban and landscaping projects with a high public content.

Since its founding in 2001, the firm has centred its practice on the development of urban landscapes, with the goal of forging and strengthening the identity of the city. A strong proponent of the idea that public space is essential to building community , civiliti believes that the form we give to public spaces has the potential to imbue the land with a long-lasting spirit of togetherness. Grounded in recognized contemporary approaches, civiliti’s practice is focused on reflection and a holistic view of public space design.

Adèle Gagné-Labrecque

Adèle Gagné-Labrecque holds a master’s degree in environment and sustainable development, specializing in planning, from the Université de Montréal (2022), as well as a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the Université de Montréal (2020). The complementary nature of her training enables her to think about the creation of resilient, sustainable spaces, and in particular the transformation of urban landscapes through ecological and landscape interventions inspired by the specific features of each territory she studies. Her academic background gives her a multi-faceted perception of the possibilities of landscape architecture and the relationship between city and nature. Adèle joined the civiliti team in 2022 as a junior landscape architect.
